Our story

Built on stone since 2013

Mike and David Miller grew up around stone. Mike became a master stonemason with a deep knowledge of quarrying and cutting, while David built his career in construction. In 2013 they combined their skills and founded Bluestone Masonry & Construction in Casper, Wyoming.

Their idea was simple: if one team controls the stone from the quarry to the finished building, the result is better. No mismatched batches, no handoffs between suppliers and builders, and no compromises on quality.

As the business grew, James and Lisa Martinez joined the team. James, who runs operations, keeps every project organized, permitted and on schedule, while his wife Lisa leads interiors and finishes, bringing marble and natural materials inside the home. Today we work on high-end projects across seven states, and every one still follows the same journey: from quarry to completion.

The team

Meet the crew

Four people, four specialties, one project from start to finish.

Master stonemason

Mike Miller

Co-founder and head of quarry operations. Mike selects, cuts and dresses the stone, and there’s very little about granite, limestone or marble he doesn’t know.

Head of construction

David Miller

Co-founder and Mike’s brother. David leads our construction crews on site, turning plans and stone into homes built with precision.

Head of operations

James Martinez

James handles planning, scheduling, permits and paperwork, so projects run smoothly and clients always know what happens next.

Interiors & finishes

Lisa Martinez

Lisa leads interiors and finishes, from marble selection to final details, making sure the inside of every home matches the craft of its stonework.
